Individual consultations

A private conversation about
whatever you need to know.

Death raises questions that are hard to ask, and even harder to find a genuinely knowledgeable, non-judgmental person to answer them. A one-on-one consultation with Sam gives you a private hour to explore any death-related topic at your own pace, with guidance tailored specifically to your situation.

Any death-related topic. No question is too strange, too morbid, or too personal.

Sam has heard it all. Whatever is on your mind, from the practical to the deeply personal, this is a space where you can ask it without embarrassment or judgement.

Death anxiety

Not everyone can afford ongoing therapy, and that's okay. Sam can set you up with the right approaches and resources to help you manage and overcome your death anxiety yourself. Practical, evidence-informed, and tailored to you.

Future planning

Sometimes you need a non-biased person to think things through with. Let's talk about your Will, Advance Care Directive, Voluntary Assisted Dying, body disposal options, funeral arrangements, whatever you need to work through.

Difficult conversations

How and when do you explain death to a child? How do you talk to an ageing parent about what they want? What do you say to a loved one who is dying? Sam can help you find the words, and the confidence to say them.

The basic facts

What does decomposition look like? Is it unsafe to be around a dead body? What is the medical and legal process after someone dies? Sometimes you just need someone to give you straight, factual answers without flinching.

These are just some examples. Need help with grief? Supporting a dying loved one? Understanding your options around Voluntary Assisted Dying? Working through something you've never had anyone to talk to about? Get in touch or book directly, there's no topic that's off the table.

Simple, private, and at your own pace.

Your hour with Sam

One hour, online, with Sam's full attention. She will address your specific questions, offer guidance tailored to your situation, and leave you with practical resources and next steps.

These are educational consultations, not therapy sessions.

Individual consultations with Sam are educational and informational in nature. They are not psychological therapy and do not constitute a therapeutic relationship. Sam is a qualified psychotherapist, but in this context she is working as a death educator and guide, not as your therapist.

Consultations are designed to be a one-off session that gives you knowledge, tools, and direction. While some clients return for follow-up sessions, the intention is to equip you to move forward with confidence, not to create an ongoing dependency.

If Sam believes you would benefit from professional psychological support or another service, she will say so and help point you in the right direction.
